Thread on, over and under. In a quaint compound in the mountains, I found myself in the midst of wizened ladies who have kept a beautiful art very much alive for the hundred or so years of its existence. As beauty is meant to be shared, opportunity for product to be made in a convergence of the modern and heritage presented itself.
It’s been awhile, but it’s been worth it. In collaboration with Easter Weaving, Pauline Prieto, Cholo De La Vega, Howard Yu and Roman Olivarez, I present to you, The Artisan Collection V.
